Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer (Remote)

About the role

The Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer will work remotely on commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, designing and optimizing HVAC systems to meet performance, efficiency and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop HVAC layouts, specifications and detailed design documentation.
• Perform heat load calculations and select appropriate equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and external partners to ensure compliance with building codes and client expectations.
• Support installation, commissioning and provide technical guidance for maintenance and repair.
• Review and update CAD drawings and models.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HVAC standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in HVAC engineering and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations and industry standards such as ASHRAE and ISO.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with large‑scale commercial or industrial ventilation projects; experience with car‑park ventilation, jet fans or smoke exhaust systems is a plus.
