About the role
Amentum is seeking qualified Hindi linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait. Although no position is currently open, applications will be processed on an as‑needed basis for future assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational linguist support during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
- Transcribe, translate, and analyze verbal communications and foreign‑language documents.
- Offer cultural insight and brief senior leadership on regional historical, political, sociological, and economic trends.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship with a valid passport.
- ILR Level 3 proficiency in Hindi and Level 2+ in English (oral and written).
- Active Secret clearance and willingness to work in Kuwait on shift/extended hours.
- Ability to respect local customs and pass a medical examination.
