HR Officer – Kuwait City

About the role

Egis is seeking a professional and organized HR Officer to join its Kuwait City team. The role focuses on supporting the HR department with employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with local labour regulations. You will play a key part in fostering workforce development and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Kuwait labour laws.
• Administer payroll processes, benefits programmes, and employee compensation in coordination with relevant departments.
• Support performance management activities such as reviews, feedback sessions, and development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure organisational compliance with local employment regulations and stay updated on labour law changes.
• Coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to aid management decision‑making.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department and act as a point of contact for employee inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience in Kuwait, preferably within engineering, construction, or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
