Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a strategic partner to the assigned division, supporting all people‑related activities from workforce planning to employee engagement. You will work closely with business leaders, corporate HR functions and external partners to ensure HR initiatives align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse resource requirements and contribute to manpower planning.
• Develop and update job descriptions, ensuring they are evaluated and compliant with Qatar labour law.
• Collaborate with corporate recruitment to fill positions, support interview processes and promote diversity.
• Manage performance management cycles, including objective setting and employee appraisals.
• Handle transactional employee requests and advise managers on HR policies.
• Identify and resolve people‑related issues with division heads and corporate HR.
• Plan site visits, employee engagement activities and incentive/compensation plans.
• Support training needs analysis and succession planning.
• Maintain organisation charts, HR metrics and reports.
• Lead and develop Division HR Coordinators, providing coaching and ensuring compliance with HR systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 6‑8 years of general HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Prior HR generalist experience in a mid‑to‑large, complex organisation, preferably with GCC exposure.
• Professional HR qualification (CIPD, SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR/PHRi) is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Oracle‑based ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
