Kitchen Staff – Manager, Sous Chef, Baker & Assistant

About the role

vol.1 Roastlab is a specialty coffee company that operates a premium café kitchen in Kuwait. We are hiring full‑time, on‑site kitchen staff for four key positions: Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Baker and Assistant Baker.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, team coordination and inventory management (Manager role).
• Prepare, cook and bake high‑quality menu items and pastries with precision.
• Maintain strict restaurant‑grade food safety, hygiene and equipment standards.
• Manage production schedules to ensure fresh, consistent daily output.
• Contribute to menu development, cost optimisation and culinary improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant restaurant, bakery or café kitchen experience; leadership experience required for Manager and Sous Chef roles.
• Strong culinary, baking or kitchen management skills specific to the applied position.
• Expert‑level knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication abilities.
• Physical stamina for a fast‑paced, on‑site environment and a passion for premium quality.
