Loss Prevention Manager

About the role

Kuwait Hotels Company is seeking a highly experienced Loss Prevention Manager to lead and strengthen loss prevention, security, asset protection and operational risk controls across its operations in Kuwait. The role suits a hands-on professional with strong hospitality, hotel, large-scale facility or multi-site experience who can identify risks, lead investigations and put in place effective preventive controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall Loss Prevention and Security function across company operations.
• Develop and enforce loss prevention, security and asset protection policies and procedures.
• Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, misconduct, property loss, security breaches and other incidents.
• Identify operational vulnerabilities and implement controls to reduce financial and asset losses.
• Run regular security audits, risk assessments, site inspections and compliance reviews.
• Oversee CCTV, access control, key control, surveillance and other security systems.
• Review incidents, find root causes and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Set up incident reporting, investigation, escalation and follow-up procedures.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, crisis response, evacuation and business continuity measures.
• Work with Operations, HR, Internal Audit, Finance, Legal and other functions, and liaise with government authorities and external parties when needed.
• Lead, train and evaluate security and loss prevention teams across locations, and provide regular management reports on incidents, trends, risks and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Loss Prevention, Security, Asset Protection or Corporate Security.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Strong preference for experience in hotels, hospitality groups, large facilities or multi-site organisations.
• Proven experience in investigations, fraud prevention, incident management and risk assessment.
• Good knowledge of Kuwait security and safety requirements is an advantage.
