About the role
Amentum is seeking qualified Malayalam linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait. The role involves providing language services and cultural insight for senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences for military operations.
- Transcribe, analyze verbal communications and foreign language documents for key information.
- Provide translation and interpretation services for Malayalam.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship with a current passport.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Ability to work in Kuwait, including shifts and extended hours for 24/7 operations.
Required skills
- Excellent verbal command of Malayalam and English (ILR level 3 Malayalam, level 2+ English).
- Familiarity with local culture and customs.
- Medical examination clearance.
