LPN Nurse – 12‑Hour Day Shifts

About the role

Durand Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our award‑winning team on 12‑hour day shifts. You will provide specialized care across multiple clinical areas while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tube management, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and educate patients and families on treatment changes.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to promote physical and psychosocial well‑being.
• Supervise, train, and assign tasks to CNA staff.

Required profile

• Current LPN license in Michigan and current CPR certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
