About the role

Amentum is seeking qualified Malayalam linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait. The role involves providing language services and cultural insight for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

Interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences for military operations.
Transcribe, analyze verbal communications and foreign language documents for key information.
Provide translation and interpretation services for Malayalam.

Required profile

U.S. citizenship with a current passport.
Willingness to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
Ability to work in Kuwait, including shifts and extended hours for 24/7 operations.

Required skills

Excellent verbal command of Malayalam and English (ILR level 3 Malayalam, level 2+ English).
Familiarity with local culture and customs.
Medical examination clearance.
