Marketing Manager

About the role

The Marketing Manager will oversee the marketing function for a division operating in the retail and sports sectors. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures that marketing policies, procedures and communication initiatives are aligned with the overall brand strategy and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor marketing policies and procedures to achieve division goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day execution of approved marketing and public‑relations strategies, measuring effectiveness.
• Collaborate with all business divisions on communication activities, including events, product launches, PR and sponsorship opportunities.
• Ensure departmental communication strategies are consistent with the broader corporate brand.
• Identify and secure new partnerships, exhibitions and sponsorships, recommending collaboration opportunities.
• Create and maintain media kits, press releases, publications and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Maintain media, photo and video libraries and keep accurate records of all marketing and PR activities.
• Analyse current communication trends, conduct media competitive analysis and evaluate agency services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail or sports environments.
• Strong background in managing marketing and public‑relations initiatives.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and support various business units.
• Experience maintaining media assets and producing press materials.
• Analytical mindset with capability to assess communication trends and competitor activity.
