Neurology Consultant – Hospital

About the role

Taiba Hospital is seeking an experienced Consultant of Neurology to lead high‑quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role focuses on rapid diagnostic turnaround, patient satisfaction, and strict compliance with documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, diagnose neurological conditions, and determine appropriate management plans.
• Perform approved neurological procedures within defined privileges.
• Provide specialist consultations for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust treatments while managing risks.
• Share on‑call duties and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes as per hospital policy.
• Maintain accurate, legible documentation in the EMR system.
• Coordinate follow‑up visits and monitor patient health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.

Required profile

• 9+ years post‑Doctorate/Fellowship experience in Neurology (12+ years preferred).
• MBBS/MBBCH, master’s in Neurology, and Board Certification or equivalent.
• Medical degree from a Kuwait MOHE‑approved university.
• Strong clinical judgment in high‑acuity neurology cases.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional ethics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and compliance.
