About the role
The Parts Manager oversees inventory, procurement and distribution of parts, ensuring the right parts are available at the right time to support service and repair operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, including ordering, stocking and distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control measures.
- Monitor parts usage, forecast demand and optimise inventory levels.
- Train, supervise and evaluate parts department staff.
- Prepare reports on inventory, sales and departmental performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in parts management, inventory control or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of automotive, mechanical or industrial parts.
Required skills
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
