About the role

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) I works on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit, providing direct support to patients and their families. This position is essential to the care team, ensuring basic patient care, hygiene, and monitoring are performed with compassion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Support the rehabilitation environment by preparing equipment and ensuring a safe workspace.
• Participate in ongoing education programs, including CPR and hospitality training.

Required profile

• Completion of 12 college credit hours, including English Composition with a minimum C grade and overall GPA of 2.0 or higher (transcripts verified).
• Willingness to work flexible hours and a 48‑hour bi‑weekly schedule.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills and collaborate effectively with the care team.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
