About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists patients and families with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene, ensuring that care is complete. The PCT works closely with the patient care team on the 3rd Floor Rehab, requiring compassion, excellent human interaction, and strong communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene.
- Ensure that all aspects of patient care are completed accurately.
Required profile
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Good organization and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and apply new healthcare-related skills.
- Consistent effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Proactive problem‑solving and anticipation of patient needs.
Required skills
- CPR certification (provided).
- Skills training, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare (provided).
