Patient Care Tech I – Night Shift (2nd Floor Rehab)

About the role

The Patient Care Tech I works on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit during the night shift, providing essential bedside support to patients and their families. This role requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with the broader healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with basic care tasks, hygiene, and monitoring.
• Ensure that all aspects of patient care are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provide a supportive presence throughout the night shift on the 2nd Floor Rehab.

Required profile

• At least 12 college credit hours, including a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Willingness to work flexible night hours.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills.
• Effective collaboration with the healthcare team and proactive problem‑solving.
