Pediatric Medical Specialist – General Pediatrician

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced General Pediatrician to provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric consultations, examinations and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Monitor growth, development, nutrition and overall health of children.
• Provide routine immunizations, preventive care and health screenings.
• Assess and manage common pediatric emergencies and deliver initial care.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans following clinical guidelines.
• Counsel parents on nutrition, vaccination, development and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and coordinate care with healthcare professionals.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics or equivalent recognized pediatric qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience as a General Pediatrician in a hospital, clinic or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric diagnosis, treatment, preventive medicine and child development.
• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and their parents/caregivers.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care and professional ethics.
