About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work within a Rehab Therapy Agency to deliver high‑quality care to a diverse and complex patient population. Operating under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the assistant supports patient treatment plans, ensures safety, and contributes to the overall growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and modalities, following the Physical Therapist’s instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment outcomes.
• Assist in preparing treatment areas and equipment for daily sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards throughout the facility.

Required profile

• Valid Arkansas State Board license for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated independence, accountability, and commitment to professional development.

Required skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient handling.
• Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions accurately.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and the therapy team.
