Planning Engineer – Refinery & Petrochemical Projects

About the role

The Planning Engineer will support Hyundai’s refinery, petrochemical and oil‑gas construction projects in the Gulf region. Based in Kuwait, you will work closely with project teams to develop, maintain and control detailed schedules using Primavera P6.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update project master schedules, detailed activity plans and progress reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction disciplines to ensure realistic time‑frames.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Generate regular schedule analyses, critical path reports and forecast updates for senior management.
• Maintain schedule data integrity and ensure compliance with company planning standards.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of planning and scheduling experience on refinery, petrochemical or oil‑gas construction projects.
• Previous work in the Gulf region, preferably with Korean contractors.
• Ability to work Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 (latest version).
