Project Director - Mechanical

About the role

HEISCO is seeking an experienced Project Director (Mechanical) to lead the execution of a major EPC project in Kuwait. The role involves full responsibility for the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable delivery while upholding the highest quality and client satisfaction standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for a large‑scale mechanical EPC project.
• Ensure delivery aligns with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Establish and monitor execution strategies, milestones, and performance objectives.
• Manage client relationships and act as primary contact for senior stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, driving proactive problem‑solving.
• Oversee commercial, contractual, and operational aspects of project execution.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, international standards, and client specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15‑20 years of experience in EPC projects within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Heavy Industrial sectors.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale construction projects valued at several hundred million dollars.
• Extensive knowledge of project management, construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.
• Demonstrated success in managing client interfaces and executive‑level stakeholder engagement.
