About the role
Amentum is seeking qualified Punjabi linguists to support U.S. military operations in Kuwait, providing language and cultural expertise to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
- Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
- Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
- Supply a variety of translation and interpretation services for Punjabi.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen with a current U.S. passport.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Willing to work in Kuwait, including shifts and extended hours for 24x7 operations.
- Familiarity with local culture and customs.
- Ability to pass a medical examination.
Required skills
- Punjabi language proficiency at ILR level 3 (oral and written).
- English language proficiency at ILR level 2+ (oral and written).
