Purchase Officer (Remote)

About the role

The Purchase Officer will lead the sourcing and procurement of products and materials for the company, working entirely remotely. You will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers worldwide, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of samples and quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers and manufacturers across global markets.
• Communicate with suppliers via email, WhatsApp, WeChat, Alibaba, and LinkedIn to request and compare quotations.
• Negotiate prices, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and lead times.
• Verify supplier credibility and maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database.
• Prepare detailed quotation comparison sheets using Excel.
• Follow up on samples and quotations until receipt.
• Support product sourcing for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with management before any order is placed.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience using Alibaba, Made‑in‑China, Global Sources, and Google for supplier research.
• Excellent negotiation and follow‑up capabilities.
• Highly organized, responsive, and able to work independently.
