Registered Nurse – 2nd Floor Rehab

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit provides safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care to patients. Working day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and Baptist Health training to deliver high‑quality patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and adherence to department policies.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to meet the standard of care.
• Partner fully with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain a unified workflow with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Required profile

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas.
• BSN preferred.
• Not actively participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
• Healthcare CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS may be required for specific areas (training provided).
• Willingness to complete specialty education as needed.
