Sales Engineer - Power Generation Solutions

About the role

The Sales Engineer will drive growth of Al Mulla Power Solutions’ portfolio of power generation products across Kuwait. You will identify new business, promote diesel generators, battery energy storage and KPP systems, and build lasting relationships with consultants, EPC contractors and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, revenue, margin and profitability targets for power generation solutions.
• Identify and secure opportunities in government, oil & gas, utilities, data centres, infrastructure, marine and industrial sectors.
• Promote and sell mtu, Generac and other premium generator systems, BESS and KPP solutions.
• Prepare and manage techno‑commercial proposals, quotations, tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Deliver technical presentations and support product specification activities with customers.
• Coordinate with engineering, projects and after‑sales teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing to inform business planning.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline, manage order processing and support payment collections.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and seminars.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5‑10 years of technical sales experience in power generation, diesel generators or energy storage.
• Proven track record in the Kuwait market with existing relationships to consultants, EPC contractors and government entities.
• Experience with premium generator brands such as mtu or Rolls‑Royce Power Systems.
