Senior Irrigation Engineer

About the role

The Senior Irrigation Engineer will lead the execution and maintenance of irrigation systems for landscape projects, ensuring they meet design specifications, budgets, and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of irrigation technicians and workers.
• Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and shop drawings from contract documents.
• Perform mechanical and technical calculations to optimise water usage.
• Prepare and submit manufacturer data sheets for equipment approval.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as method statements and progress reports.
• Collaborate with supervisory consultants for site inspections and approvals.
• Develop construction plans and manage project budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in senior irrigation engineering roles.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety and industry best practices.
