About the role
The Senior Irrigation Engineer will lead the execution and maintenance of irrigation systems for landscape projects, ensuring they meet design specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of irrigation technicians and workers.
- Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and shop drawings from contract documents.
- Perform mechanical and technical calculations to optimise water usage.
- Prepare and submit manufacturer data sheets for equipment approval.
- Create and maintain project documentation such as method statements and progress reports.
- Collaborate with supervisory consultants for site inspections and approvals.
- Develop construction plans and manage project budgets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field.
- 5‑7 years of experience in senior irrigation engineering roles.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Commitment to safety and industry best practices.
