Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will drive revenue and market‑share growth for the Corporate Banking portfolio in Kuwait. The role involves acquiring new corporate clients, deepening relationships with existing ones, and delivering tailored banking, financial and risk solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics within the corporate banking sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships to acquire new clients and expand product usage across trade finance, cash management, structured finance, corporate finance, treasury, insurance and retail banking.
• Analyse each client’s wallet share and develop plans with senior leadership to increase product penetration.
• Ensure timely renewal of facilities, credit rating updates, documentation, KYC and AML compliance.
• Prepare and review credit applications, conduct financial statement analysis and provide credit recommendations to the Committee.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address functional, operational and strategic needs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate banking, preferably within the Kuwait market.
• Strong understanding of banking products, credit assessment, KYC/AML regulations and risk management.
• Proven ability to acquire new corporate clients and grow existing relationships.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
