About the role

The Supervisory Property Disposal Specialist leads reverse‑logistics initiatives that move excess government property from declaration to disposition, ensuring value recovery or compliant disposal. The role supports multiple military commands and federal customers, providing policy guidance and operational expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Implement reverse‑logistics solutions to manage spare materials, in‑process inventory, and related data.
• Advise agencies on disposal policy interpretation and application.
• Collaborate with customers to define short‑ and long‑term disposal requirements and refine processes.
• Evaluate unique constraints of military commands and recommend appropriate actions.
• Demonstrate and train on newly automated disposal methods and operational techniques.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Secret access.
• One year of specialized experience in property disposal, reutilization, transfer, donation, sales, abandonment, or destruction.
• Successful completion of a supervisory certification program and supervisory probation.
• Compliance with Selective Service registration, REAL ID, and applicable physical and financial disclosures.
• Willingness to serve a 12‑month unaccompanied overseas rotation within the CENTCOM area.
