System Administrator – IT-12 (Oil & Gas Project)

About the role

The position is for a System Administrator (IT‑12) supporting a prestigious oil & gas project in Kuwait. The role focuses on ensuring the stability, performance and security of both on‑premise and cloud‑based infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the overall systems infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance, apply security patches and resolve incidents to guarantee high availability.
• Support day‑to‑day operations, configuration changes and resource provisioning for critical enterprise services.
• Collaborate with project teams to align infrastructure with project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in system administration.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent degree (minimum three‑year program).
• Proven experience working in large‑scale, high‑availability environments, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
