Training Specialist

About the role

Kuwait Hotels Company is looking for a Training Specialist to coordinate and support training and development activities across the group. The role ensures employees receive the skills, knowledge and development opportunities needed to meet business and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) with HR and department heads.
• Prepare and coordinate the annual training plan and calendar.
• Organize internal and external training programs, workshops and orientations.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction training for new employees.
• Support hospitality, guest service, technical and mandatory compliance training.
• Liaise with training providers and evaluate suitable programs.
• Maintain employee training records and monitor completion.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and collect employee and manager feedback.
• Prepare monthly training reports and track key training KPIs.
• Monitor training costs against the approved budget.
• Support employee development, cross-training and career development initiatives.
• Keep training documentation complete for audit and compliance purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development or HR.
• Hospitality or hotel experience preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong communication, presentation and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
