About the role

Al Mutawa Travel Agency is seeking a proactive Travel Consultant to manage end‑to‑end travel arrangements for clients. The role involves understanding client needs, recommending suitable packages, and ensuring a seamless booking experience while meeting revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement agency policies and procedures to meet procedural requirements efficiently.
• Identify client needs and propose travel solutions that fit budget and preferences.
• Book tickets, accommodation, transportation, and concierge services from start to finish.
• Provide travelers with relevant information, guides, maps, and event programs.
• Research destinations, pricing, customs, weather, visa requirements, and reviews.
• Prepare quotations, coordinate payments with the Finance department, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Use promotional techniques and cross‑sell additional services when appropriate.
• Handle unexpected issues, complaints, and determine eligibility for refunds.
• Attend conferences to stay updated on tourism trends as required.
• Maintain electronic client records, nurture key relationships, and keep financial documents organized.
• Achieve revenue and profit targets set by management and prepare required reports.
