Visiting Faculty – Undergraduate Psychology Lecturer

About the role

American International University is seeking a Visiting Faculty member to teach undergraduate Psychology courses within its School of Arts & Sciences. The role focuses on delivering high‑impact, student‑centered instruction as part of the General Education curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Psychology courses in the General Education program.
• Prepare and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
• Foster student engagement and support academic success both inside and outside the classroom.
• Utilize learning management systems and instructional technologies effectively.
• Participate in periodic course assessment and program improvement activities.

Required profile

• PhD degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated university‑level teaching experience.
• Strong communication and instructional skills in English.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural and language backgrounds.
• Experience with English language learners preferred.
• Experience delivering courses in classroom, hybrid, or online formats desirable.

Required skills
