Women’s Health Psychologist

About the role

Taiba Hospital is seeking a dedicated Women’s Health Psychologist to join its Integrated Care Center. You will provide evidence‑based mental‑health support to women across the lifespan, from perinatal to menopausal stages, within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapy using CBT, mindfulness, and supportive counseling tailored to women’s needs.
• Conduct assessments with validated tools, diagnose mental‑health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, midwives, and other specialists to embed psychological interventions in holistic care pathways.
• Create and lead psycho‑education workshops on stress management, postpartum adjustment, and self‑care.
• Monitor outcomes through standardized measures (e.g., PHQ‑9, GAD‑7) and adjust treatment plans based on data and patient feedback.
• Promote mental‑health awareness through department huddles and community outreach.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a valid license or eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in women’s health, perinatal, or integrated‑care settings.
• Strong empathy, active‑listening abilities, and cultural sensitivity.
• Commitment to continuous learning and evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with psychological assessment tools.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
