Aircraft Mechanic I (UH‑60) – Buehring, Kuwait

About the role

The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH‑60) is responsible for maintaining and repairing UH‑60 helicopters stationed in Buehring, Kuwait. The role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and preparing aircraft for inspections while ensuring compliance with technical manuals and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, controls, anti‑icing, pneudraulic, engines, APU, and ventilation/heating systems.
• Remove and install subsystems such as engines, rotors, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
• Service, lubricate, and prepare aircraft for scheduled and special inspections.
• Perform limited operational checks, diagnoses, and use special tools and test equipment.
• Maintain and repair components including flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical parts.
• Participate in maintenance test flights and operational checks.
• Execute operator maintenance on tools, ground support equipment, and technical publications.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FAA A&P certificate preferred; otherwise 3 years aviation maintenance experience with at least 2 years on UH‑60 within the last 6 years.
• U.S. passport (minimum 2 years validity) and U.S. citizenship for Public Trust NAC‑I.
• Ability to obtain a Kuwait visa and pass CENTCOM medical requirements.
