Quality Assurance & Food Safety Supervisor

About the role

The Quality Assurance & Food Safety Supervisor leads QA, food safety and HSE activities at a manufacturing plant in Kuwait. The role ensures that all quality, safety and environmental standards are applied consistently across production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Food Safety Management System in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Implement and enforce HACCP, BRC and other prerequisite programs throughout the production process.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in‑process items and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure non‑conforming materials do not enter production.
• Identify deviations, lead investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform internal audits, support external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Carry out risk assessments and safety inspections, maintaining accurate audit trails and documentation.
• Promote GMP, 5S, hygiene and uniform standards across the site.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising quality assurance, food safety and HSE functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Ability to lead investigations, manage audits and implement CAPA effectively.
• Excellent collaboration skills with production, supply chain, QA and HSE teams.
