Quality Assurance & Food Safety Inspector/Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance & Food Safety Inspector/Officer ensures that all quality, food safety and GMP standards are consistently applied across manufacturing sites, co‑manufacturers and external warehouses in Kuwait. You will conduct inspections, manage non‑conformities, support investigations and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular quality inspections of raw materials, in‑process items and finished products.
• Verify compliance with product specifications, GMP, HACCP and food hygiene requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, random truck/tanker inspections and external site assessments.
• Identify non‑conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and track their implementation.
• Investigate food safety incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document findings.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality Supervisors and Managers to develop process checklists and audit plans.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP prerequisite programs and food safety management practices.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and CAPA processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work across multiple sites.
