Assistant Store Manager – Retail – The Avenues Mall

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the Sandro/Maje boutique at The Avenues Mall. This role combines floor leadership, customer experience oversight, and staff development to ensure the store meets its sales and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example on the selling floor, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Train, coach, and develop store staff on product knowledge, visual merchandising, and sales techniques.
• Maintain store standards in both the sales area and stockroom.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including inventory control, loss prevention, and compliance with company policies.
• Drive sales performance, manage payroll, control shrink, and improve conversion rates.
• Execute strategies to maximize revenue while controlling expenses.

Required profile

• Previous retail managerial experience with a proven record of achieving sales and profit goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good English proficiency.
• Customer‑focused mindset and ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
