Director of Investment Operations

About the role

The Director of Investment Operations will lead ZADZAD’s end‑to‑end operational function across all markets. Reporting to the Deputy CEO, this senior leader is responsible for trade lifecycle management, back‑office processing, regulatory compliance and risk oversight while scaling the team to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the operational strategy, ensuring platforms scale as new markets, products and client segments are added.
• Own the full trade lifecycle – order execution, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions and fund movements – and enforce SLA standards.
• Lead back‑office functions including KYC, onboarding, deposits/withdrawals, transaction processing and dispute resolution.
• Maintain audit‑ready compliance with CMA requirements and manage regulatory reviews.
• Develop and retain a high‑performing operations team, setting KPIs, coaching staff and planning succession.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
• 10+ years progressive experience in financial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a regulated brokerage or fintech.
• Proven track record of building and scaling operations, process architecture and regulatory compliance.
• Deep knowledge of multi‑market trade lifecycle, settlement and reconciliation.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to executive and board audiences.
