F&B and Food Manufacturing Quality Control Manager

About the role

The Quality Control Manager for Food & Beverage and food manufacturing ensures that all products, production kitchens, and restaurant outlets meet the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and product consistency. The role leads audits, trains QC/QA teams and enforces both local health regulations and global safety frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise quality control activities, inspection schedules and the collection of quality records.
• Implement and manage HACCP, ISO, FSSC and local municipal health guidelines.
• Monitor hygiene, food handling, storage conditions and temperatures across warehouses, central production sites and kitchens.
• Test raw materials and finished menu items to ensure uniform taste, texture and presentation.
• Train kitchen and service staff on safe food practices, personal hygiene and quality standards.
• Develop process improvements to raise product quality and efficiency.
• Define raw‑material specifications, assess supplier compliance and oversee inspections.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, health and safety legislation, and internal standards.
• Review product development and production procedures, identify deviations and approve or reject final output.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis of quality data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, quality management or related field (MBA a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of QC/QA experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Certification in HACCP, ISO, FSSC, CQE or CQA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local food regulations and excellent attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and people‑management abilities.
• Local visa transfer eligibility, a valid driving licence and own car.
