Finance Director – Kuwait

About the role

Beyond ONE is seeking a Finance Director for its Virgin Mobile Kuwait operation. You will own the full spectrum of finance activities, from accounting and reporting to commercial finance support and transformation initiatives, partnering closely with the CEO and Group Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end accounting and finance operations, overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, delegation of authority and Group reporting standards.
• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Kuwait CEO, providing strategic financial leadership.
• Manage and develop the local finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Support commercial, sales and marketing teams on product pricing, discounts, commissions and promotions.
• Analyse revenue, margins, receivables, collections and profitability, delivering insights for decision‑making.
• Coordinate budgeting, rolling forecasts and performance reviews in collaboration with the budgeting team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within a telecom or digital services environment.
• Proven track record of managing full‑cycle accounting, reporting and compliance.
• Strong commercial finance acumen and ability to partner with business units.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, coach and develop finance professionals.
