Head of Partnerships – B2B Technology Alliances

About the role

The Head of Partnerships will lead stc's B2B technology alliances program, shaping multi‑year partnership strategies and converting signed agreements into active revenue pipelines. Reporting directly to the Kuwait C‑level team, this senior position drives decision‑making across the Partnership & Alliances Committee (P&ALC).

Key responsibilities

• Report to stc Kuwait C‑level executives and manage Tier‑1 issue escalations.
• Chair all P&ALC sessions, ensuring business cases, pipeline reviews and health assessments meet required standards before decisions.
• Define and own the multi‑year B2B partnership strategy and strategic partner pipeline.
• Hold final authority on partner approvals, tier classification, commercial model design, investment commitments and escalations.
• Set revenue targets for Partnership Managers, lead bi‑weekly pipeline reviews and hold teams accountable to those targets.
• Conduct quarterly Partner Health Reviews, driving corrective actions for at‑risk or stalled relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Management.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
• 15+ years of experience in B2B technology or telecom sales/partnerships, including at least 5 years in a senior partnerships or alliances role within a telecom or IT company.
• Proven track record of moving partnerships from MoU to active pipeline and revenue generation.
• Deep understanding of ICT needs in Kuwait’s B2B market across O&G, Government and BFSI sectors.
