About the role
The Head of Sales leads the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy, working closely with senior management to drive growth, expand existing business, and position the property competitively in the local market.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage hotel sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to identify priority initiatives and support needed areas.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts in line with current pricing conditions.
- Monitor offers, discounts, and repeat bookings for groups, congresses, and seminars.
- Lead, coach, and expand a high‑performing sales team, including hiring and performance management.
- Direct the forecasting process with the Revenue Department and produce accurate sales reports.
- Contribute to the annual Sales and Market Plan, quarterly updates, and the hotel’s annual budget.
- Implement sales and marketing initiatives, respond to market changes, and coordinate group meetings.
- Work with Reservations, Banqueting, and other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Required profile
- Proven experience working with senior management teams in a hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a sales team.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Experience preparing contracts and managing group sales.
