About the role

Lead the hotel’s Human Resources function, partnering with the General Manager and Department Heads to deliver the people strategy and support overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the hotel’s Human Resources function, partnering with the General Manager and Department Heads to deliver the people strategy and support overall business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and workforce planning, ensuring the hotel attracts, develops and retains the right talent while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Oversee colleague relations, providing guidance on performance, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations and workplace concerns.
• Drive colleague engagement, recognition and wellbeing through surveys, action plans, Town Halls and recognition programmes.
• Lead performance and talent management, including reviews, succession planning, promotions and cross‑training.
• Partner with Learning & Quality to identify training needs and ensure delivery of mandatory and leadership development programmes.
• Oversee payroll‑related HR processes, attendance, leave, benefits and colleague movements.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait Labour Law, government requirements, IHG policies and brand standards.
• Monitor headcount, manpower productivity, HR budgets and labour costs, supporting vacancy management and workforce utilisation.
• Prepare and analyse HR reports and people metrics to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources, administration or hotel operations; hotel HR experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Comfortable working with HR systems and digital platforms.
