Investment & Endowment (Waqf) Analyst

About the role

Investment & Endowment (Waqf) Analyst driving sustainable growth through strategic investment analysis and endowment development within the nonprofit sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assessing development opportunities for organizational land assets, farms, and university properties
• Conducting economic feasibility studies to determine endowment valuations and project viability
• Identifying, screening, and evaluating investment opportunities
• Developing technical and Shariah-compliant frameworks for temporary endowments (deposits/real estate) and Waqf sukuk instruments
• Preparing comprehensive periodic sustainability performance reports, including gap analysis
• Analyzing the impact of inflation on annual project commitments and obligations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis and investment appraisal
• FMVA certified; skilled in investment and portfolio management
• Strong knowledge of Shariah governance standards for endowments (Awqaf)
• Bilingual in Arabic and English with advanced Excel proficiency
