Operations Manager - Restaurant Branches

About the role

NEOM Hospitality Group, which operates Bukhari restaurants in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across its restaurant branches in Kuwait. The role combines restaurant operations management with a background as a Chef and is open only to candidates currently living in Kuwait who can join immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across branches, keeping food quality, service standards, hygiene and efficiency consistent.
• Lead Branch Managers, Chefs and service teams, setting responsibilities, targets and accountability.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling and workforce planning with HR.
• Use culinary expertise to review cooking methods, recipes, portions, presentation and kitchen workflow, and standardise recipes and procedures.
• Monitor sales, budgets, food and labour costs, inventory and wastage, and take corrective action.
• Carry out regular branch visits and audits, follow up on issues, and ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Work with Procurement and Supply Chain, delivery platforms, Marketing, Finance and other departments on quality, promotions, menu changes and customer feedback.
• Coach teams, resolve complaints and incidents, and support new openings and menu launches.
• Submit performance reports and action plans to senior management.

Required profile

• Currently residing in Kuwait and available to join immediately.
• Proven restaurant operations experience covering multiple branches.
• Mandatory previous professional experience as a Chef.
• Strong leadership of kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality assurance; SOPs and cost control.
• Ability to work on-site in Kuwait and travel regularly between branches; Kuwait or GCC restaurant experience preferred.
• A qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or Culinary Arts is preferred.
