Procurement Officer – Healthcare Distribution

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Officer to join our fast‑growing healthcare and wellness distribution business in Kuwait. The role involves managing end‑to‑end purchasing activities, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and ensuring inventory availability to support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers, obtain quotations and negotiate favorable terms.
• Prepare, issue and track purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with warehouse and sales teams to avoid stock shortages.
• Track shipments, follow up on order status and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and support cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in distribution, FMCG, or healthcare.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
