Product Repair & Modifications Technician – C‑17 Aircraft

About the role

Boeing is seeking a Product Repair & Modifications Technician to join the C‑17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. The role supports both flight‑line and back‑shop maintenance for Kuwait Air Force C‑17 aircraft, ensuring mission‑critical availability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assembly, disassembly and modification of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement upgrades.
• Direct troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems and perform fault isolation.
• Oversee validation and verification testing of systems and components, documenting results for regulatory compliance.
• Inspect repaired components and certify them for flight worthiness.
• Supervise and mentor junior personnel in safe handling, jacking, towing and system operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of C‑17 maintenance experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain an interim or final U.S. Secret clearance.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education; additional technical training is a plus.
• Willingness to meet cultural requirements of Kuwait and work the required shift schedule.
