Registered Nurse – Rehab (Day Shift)

About the role

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 3rd Floor Rehabilitation unit on a day‑shift schedule (6:30 am – 7:00 pm). The RN will deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and deliver compassionate, evidence‑based interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Follow department policies, document care accurately, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in specialty education and training as required.

Required profile

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Active Arkansas nursing license; BSN preferred.
• Ability to function as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team.
• Not currently enrolled in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
• Healthcare CPR certification (additional ACLS, PALS, or NALS training provided as needed).

Required skills

• Basic nursing knowledge and clinical competence.
• Critical thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• CPR certification (mandatory).
• Willingness to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NALS certifications when required.
