Senior Accountant

About the role

SV7 is seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of the accounting function across a growing group of companies. This hands‑on position will manage day‑to‑day finance operations while introducing structure, accuracy and discipline in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, journal entries, month‑end and year‑end close.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, supplier and vendor reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payments across multiple banks, currencies and channels; perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash positions.
• Handle petty cash, employee expense claims and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Maintain fixed‑asset register and inter‑company reconciliations across entities.
• Execute payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Ensure tax and statutory compliance in all jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external auditors and support the audit cycle.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes as the business scales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including senior or lead responsibilities.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA is a strong advantage.
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS.
• Proven experience with multi‑entity, multi‑currency bookkeeping.
• Cross‑industry adaptability.
