Senior Medical Representative – Kuwait

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Medical Representative to join its Established Pharmaceuticals division in Kuwait. You will promote Abbott’s branded generic medicines to healthcare professionals, educate them on product value, and drive sales growth across multiple therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Abbott’s products to healthcare professionals and educate them on benefits for patients.
• Utilise SFA/SFE tools to achieve planned coverage, call frequency, and call rate.
• Understand customer needs, communicate product benefits, and address concerns.
• Achieve consistent sales growth and meet sales targets in the assigned territory.
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key personnel in all accounts.
• Provide regular reports, forecasts, proposals, and business reviews to the supervisor.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the territory.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and codes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical experience in Kuwait.
• Multinational experience preferred.
• Pharmacy or healthcare background.
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment.
• Competencies: learning ability, active listening, self‑accountability, team player, challenge assumptions, insight‑driven, compliance‑focused.
