Sr. Business Analyst – Retail Credit & Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to act as a domain‑driven IT partner for Consumer Credit, Finance, Accounting and Automation systems. You will ensure regulatory compliance, financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the entire consumer lending lifecycle while supporting Agile and hybrid delivery models.

Key responsibilities

• Translate consumer credit and finance requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Support Agile/hybrid delivery by converting requirements into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining BRD/FSD documentation.
• Cover the end‑to‑end lending lifecycle: origination, disbursement, servicing, collections, write‑offs and closure.
• Ensure accurate interest, amortisation, fees, penalties and GL postings.
• Integrate lending platforms with core finance systems, payment gateways and regulatory reporting tools.
• Support IFRS‑9/ECL logic, provisioning and financial reconciliations.
• Lead or assist automation initiatives such as RPA, workflow automation and exception handling.
• Maintain compliance with central bank regulations, audit requirements and internal controls.
• Participate in sprint planning, UAT, production releases, incident resolution and audit queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 5–10 years of experience as an IT/Business Systems Analyst.
• Mandatory experience in Consumer Credit/Retail Lending and Finance & Accounting systems.
• Proven experience with Loan Management Systems, Core Banking/Credit platforms and ERP solutions.
• Exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
